The CamView is shipped with the battery disconnected to prevent any battery

drain that may reduce the battery life. Prior to the use of the instrument, the bat-

tery wires inside the battery compartment must be connected together. Open the

battery compartment. Observing the proper polarity (red wire to red wire, black

wire to black wire), connect the battery wires and replace

the cover on the battery compartment.

2.4 Connecting and Charging the Battery

There is no need to unplug the battery if the CamView is being used regularly

(at least once every few weeks). If the CamView will be unused for more than 1

month, unplug the battery for storage.

For rst time usage, it is recommended that the battery be ‘conditioned’ by

operating the CamView until it turns itself o. This will provide the best battery

life in the coming months. If the Auto Power O feature is activated, it may be

necessary Disable it to allow the product to run until the battery is depleted.
